As in last year, Albania became the first country to announce it’s official song.

Jonida Maliqi with her song Ktedu Tokës, became the winner thanks to votes from both the national and the international jury.


Ermal Meta, the Albanian singer who represented Italy last year in Lisbon was also one of the guests of the final night.

Hitting the headlines with Fuego in Lisbon in 2018, Cyprus has announced the songwriters of their song that will be representing the country in Tel Aviv in 2019.



As the national broadcaster CyBC has informed, the song will be written by Fuego's songwriters Alex Papaconstantinou, Viktor Svensson, and the other famous songwriters Albin Nedler, Teddy Sky, and Kristofer Fogelmark.


Also, there is a rumour that has caused a big excitement. The Broadcaster wants to cooperate with worldwide famous Dutch DJ Martin Garrix.



Georgian-Greek singer Tamta will probably be involved as representer and the stage will be desineg by Sacha Jean-Baptiste.


According to this news, Cyprus wants to maintain their recent success they have "fired" with Fuego!
