Salut!. The time that all French fans have been waiting for has come finally. As the Destination Eurovision acts have been confirmed, expectations are getting higher and higher each day.
As you know, French national channel decided to organize a national final after they ended the consecutive bad results with Amir’s 6th place and Alma’s top 15 finish with the songs “J’ai cherché” and “Requiem” respectively. As a result, last year a combination of experienced and new artists had competed at Destination Eurovision. After an exciting jury voting and televoting session, the couple Madame Monsieur won with their song “Mercy” which was composed for a refugee child. They did pretty well and took 13th place in Lisbon. Hence, this year Destination Eurovision returns with even stronger songs.
The semi-finals will take place on January 12th and 19th. 4 acts will qualify from each semi-final. Both public and international jurors will have %50 impact on votes. In total of 20 country member were invited for the international jury panel, 5 for each semi-final and 10 for the grand final.
Also, three French jury members will be in the arena as last year, however they cannot give any points, they will only give critics.
